PICO DUARTE HIKE

Duarte Peak, 3,087 meters above sea level, highest elevation in the Antilles. Join us for 3, 4 or 5 day excursions, by foot or by mule to the roof of the Caribbean. You will go from the tropical forest to the pine forest of the J. Armando Bermúdez National Park, going on paths through thousand of ferns. You will see , parrots or goldfinches and other exotic birds.

CANYONING

This exciting but risk-free experience begins in the headwaters of the Baiguate River, the main source of the Yaque del Norte. You descend through canyons to the Baiguate Falls, enjoying the crystalline and cool water in natural pools.

HORSE BACK RIDING

Ride along the river through lush vegetation and tropical surroundings, a horseback ride down to the Baigaute Waterfall is one of the must do for every Jarabacao visitor.
